NFL Week 3 - Business As Usual, Get Down To It

Back in your nucleus! I didn't have time to post this morning since I was on a plane, but 2 of the 3 games I'm throwing on are 4pm starts, and the other was a huge no brainer... sorry S Dot and Neb.

This parlay is paying out at +300, and unlike yesterday there is no Bobby Bowden to F this up.

Ravens moneyline over Browns (At least you guys were right about Brady Quinn getting benched.)
Steelers -3 over Bengals (I think this line is way too low - I'd throw if it was 6.5 or less.)
Chicago -2.5 over Seahawks (Seneca Wallace really? Cutler and the Bears offense is hot. And good at football.)

1 unit to win 3 units.

I also need to figure out how to post pictures on this bitch. I mean, if T-howdoyouboilwater-Diddy knows, it can't be overly complicated....

this is more like it

finally ready to party.. a lot of big public plays out there to fade.

cleveland @ baltimore - last year no one hated the browns/ loved the ravens more than me so it kinda kills me to do this, but i'm hammering the browns today. +13.5 to win 2 units

washington @ detroit - everyone seems to love the lions this week. matt stafford is not a good quarterback (yet). lions will find a way to lose. to win 1 unit at -6.5

tennessee @ new york jets - not completely sold on nyj yet, thought the pats beat themselves last week. if welker played, that's a whole different game. not saying the titans have an offense anything like the pats', but at the same time, significantly fewer people are blowing sanchez if the jets 1-1 going into week 3. tenn +1 to win 1 unit

new york giants @ tampa - every jamoke in the country is hammering the g-men today, ATS and especially in teasers. something just isn't right about this game. i'll buy the half point to get to the key number, 1.30 to win 1 unit at +7

Week 3 NFL

After a brutal day for me yesterday, its time to bounce back LARGE:

Moneyline

The losing streak ends today. Detroit for .5 units at +230

10 point tease

lions +16.5 at home against the redskins, 49ers +17 at the vikings, browns +23.5 at ravens
I'm basically taking the points today. Weather should play a role but its cool that I'm taking games in a dome. Dumb.

FSU SUCKS! Thanks for making me reload you Seminole pricks

Who saw that coming?! 4 Florida State turnovers ruins my sure thing teaser - and my BYU missionary position joke. I hope that all night bender was worth it Christian Ponder.

Time to re-ante up and get back in the black on the day. I'm still high on my calls on Washington State and Notre Dame, and am going to come out strong tonight to make up for that huge FSU crapfest. The only thing that made me feel a little better was that the guy next to me at the bar had A TON on the FSU moneyline paying out at -500. Not the most efficient way to make a buck. I don't think the $2 Bud Light I bought him is going to make him feel much better - but I did tell him about these bets which should hopefully help him save his marriage.

2 Team 6 Point Tease - Washington State +51 and Notre Dame +0.5: 1.1 units to win 1 unit
2 Team Parlay - Washington State +45 and Notre Dame +6.5: 0.5 units to win 1.5 units

NCAA Week 4 - The 5 Team "Sure Thing" Tease

Unlike some others, I have conviction this week. There are 5 games I am crushing on with the 7 point cushion. This bad agent pays out at +300, and if I were you I'd get involved. A casual observation at the quarter way mark... my posts are different from Nebby's mainly because:

a) I'm not blacked out while typing this.
b) I'm going to try to provide some actual logic behind my reasons.
c) He's more girthy than I am.

All of that aside, this is seriously the weekend of the tease - a legitimate handful of games that you won't have to stress about. Where else can you triple your investment in a matter of hours? Not taking Diddy's currency trading advice, that's for damn certain.

Washington St +52.0
Washington St Cougars at So. Cal Trojans - USC is going to beat Wash State by a healthy margin, but come on. Not by 52. They can win by 7 touchdowns and still not cover. USC is not invincible this year, and this one is going to finally prove it. Last chance to get in on the outrageous lines before Vegas realizes that this year Carroll is rebuilding and not reloading. I'm probably also throwing on them at +45.

Florida St -7.0
S. Florida Bulls at Florida St Seminoles - No Matt Groethe and the home crowd behind them after putting BYU in the missionary position (get it?!1?!111?!1!). That spells disaster. The Noles are taking this one by a touchdown without even turning it on. Seminoles fans nationwide view this game as a warmup for the shutout of BC's JV offense next week.

Rutgers +7.0
Rutgers Scarlet Knights at Maryland Terrapins - No detailed explanation needed after Maryland's performace thus far. How is this game even up to start with? Fat boy Ralph may be gone by mid-season at this rate.

Notre Dame +0.0
Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Purdue Boilermakers - It pains me to bet on Notre Dame, but let's be serious. Purdue blows. The Irish somehow pulled it out last week with a bit of luck against MSU, but the leprechauns won't need any miracles to add another victory to their cupcake schedule.

Wake Forest +8.5
Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Boston College Eagles - Technically NOT paying for a victory. But I am positive that BC is not going to win by more than 8 points. It's a TD victory at the absolute most. And I would still start Tuggle if I was Spaz - Uncle Dave is not going to get it done, even against a depleted Wake Forest squad.

1 unit on the above to win 3 units.

P.S. I was close to throwing on Penn State and Miami, too but overall they just both had the distinct odors of a trap game. Of course if they hit, you can be damn certain this post is getting edited immediately to the rarely seen 7 team teaser. Just kidding S Dot.

For no reason other than the fact I want action on PSU

Iowa owns Penn State. 6 out of 7 in a row. Just no doubt in my mind Penn State rolls today. I mean Iowa squeaked by northern iowa by a point a couple weeks ago. I actually love Penn State today at -9 but I hate giving points so I am going to tease it. The question is with who? I am going to take my chances with notre dame again today as a pick'em. ND screwed me hard last week not being able to cover 4 points but still winning so I will go right back with them again.

2 team 6.5 point teaser:
Penn State -2.5 at home against Iowa and Notre dame pick'em at Purdue for 1 unit

The other game that I am not touching but like is Oregon +5.5 at home against Cal.
Cal has USC next week which is their Super Bowl and this could be a huge letdown for them.
Since I am not touching it, no doubt oregon covers.

The Return of Mike McLaughlin

Everyone knows that BC's defense is ridiculous. You aren't a college football fan if you don't know that. So what happens when your senior middle linebacker and team captain is coming off an achilles injury and making his first start of the season? My guess is Riley Skinner woke up this morning with "the flu" and asked Coach Grobe for the day off (He doesn't want his body to be disfigured so he can continue his nude modeling. Not to mention he has thrown 7 picks against us the last 3 years)

With all that said, David Shinkie is making his 1st career start. I am not sure what Uncle Dave did last week to show he was worthy of a start over Justin Tuggle but you got to believe in Spaz.

Take the training wheels off and let him air it out to see what we got. Wake is going to have 8 in the box all game so its up to the passing game to put some points on the board. BC needs this game.

so I am paying for a BC win

1 unit on Wake Forest +1

no conviction

nothing really jumps out at me, but here's 2 team, 7pt tease because i'm bored. to win 1 unit

unc +9.5 and miami +4

ACC ACC ACC

I have been living and dying (really just dying) by the ACC this season so I figured I'd continue along with the pain

The big name school sucker bet that I am doing anyway:

7 point tease
Florida State - 7 at home against South Florida and Ohio State -7 at home against Juice Williams for 1 unit (best name in college football, right ahead of Colt McCoy and Roderick Rollins)

Against the Spread
Miami -2.5 at vtech for 1 unit ... Jacory Harris is a stud.. I am a believer in the hurricanes after watching that defense murder gtech's running game..

gtech -3 at home against north carolina ... unc looked good last week against and gtech looked awful so this one makes a lot of sense...

Thursday, September 24, 2009

The gauntlet has been thrown down, but the faculty have answered, and answered with vigor.

It's time to pick up the phone and call these week 3 lockmonsters in before your bookie comes knocking on your door looking for the money you owe him for going big on the Pats the past two weeks...what were you thinking you?

Here they are:

Buffalo (+6) at home vs. New Orleans
Two words: Trent Edwards.
One more word: bum.
Take New Orelans laying the points.

G-Men (-6.5) at Tampa
Hey Tampa, nice fucking quarterback
Take the G-Men laying the points.

Cleveland (+13) at Baltimore
The Scotty Winter buckthecrowd special...take the points and say sayonara to the Brady Quinn era...Derek Anderson leads Cleveland to the backdoor cover despite the fact that the Cleveland safeties are still learning how to tackle.

Detroit (+6) at home vs. Washington
Is this the big week...I honestly don't think it is...but I do believe that Jim Zorn will have the common courtesy to keep it under six. Thanks Jim

Pittsburgh (-4) at Cincinnati
Put me in the camp that says one win by Cincy doesn't erase three years of god awful football. Let's not forget that this team sucks...take the Steelers laying the points.

Indy (+1) at Arizona
A tale of two shitty defenses and two rock-solid offenses...when in doubt take the team that gets to check out Jamie Silva in the showers on a daily basis. Indy with the almighty poiint...

Patriots (-4) at home vs. Atlanta
Couldn't figure this one out for the life of me....why would Vegas set the line at -4 when they know the Pats are going to win by 2-3 touchdowns...so with all due respect to my good friend and life partner, Matt Ryan, take the Pats laying the points and get ready to see Randy deep dicking the Atlanta D all day.

I'm going 1 unit on each of these games...might even weigh in on the rest of them before the Jet game kicks off on Friday night. God bless.

Picking Up The BTC Slack

With S Dot, Diddy, and Nebby all pathetically and collectively losing steam before NFL Week 2, someone has to pick up the slack. Seriously fellas, not a single post today? Weak. I wasn't even going to get involved with this game, but someone has to keep our 3 loyal readers coming back...

After watching the first half of the Giants - Cowboys game, I am convinced the Giants are ready the break out and put this game away. They are winning the time of possession battle, and get the ball to start things off in the 3rd quarter. Eli has looked uncharacteristically sharp and Romo has been an INT machine. I think Jacobs and Bradshaw finally start to wear down the Cowboys D to the tune of a couple rushing touchdowns, and the Cowboys walk out of their new stadium like the losers they are.

I'm loving the Giants 2nd half line at +4.5 and throwing down 1.1 units to win 1 unit to prove it.

3 Team Tease Me Again And Ridiculous Props

Quick post about a 7 point teaser I am liking today. I'm putting down 1 unit at +120.

OAKLAND + 10 @ Kansas City
Cincinnati @ GREEN BAY -2.5
Carolina @ ATLANTA +.5

The Raiders showed me something last week, and I think they run all over the Chiefs. With Nnamdi Asomugha locking down my man Dwayne Bowe, KC is not in good shape here.

Green Bay is an offensive machine, and at home the FG victory is an easy cover. Aaron Rogers has a 4 TD day.

Matty Ryan takes a borderline-depressed Jack Delhomme to school as the Falcons put the Panthers to 0-2. I see Matt Moore starting next week for Carolina.

And just for shits, I'm throwing .25 units at +300 on a live ball hitting the scoreboard during the Giants - Cowboys game. I'm pretty sure a bunch of players are betting the Kickers and Punters of both teams they won't do it - that's strong temptation to go for it all out.

NFL Week 2 - I FEEL LIKE I'M TAKING CRAZY PILLS!!!

You never, ever bet with your heart...

The Eagles are my squad, but I have to say its one of the biggest no-brainers I have ever seen to lay down against them today. Is the Saints -.5 line for real? Mugatu would be furious... The man has one look!! They're all the same face!! Doesn't anybody notice this??

Seriously, has anyone in Vegas ever seen Kevin Kolb play? The dude is a colossal bum - if I was Andy Reid, I would legit start 39 year old Jeff Garcia over a guy with a career 25.0 QB rating. He's never throw a touchdown, never completed a pass longer than 14 yards, and will never be a first string NFL QB. And if you really think the Birds are going to pound the rock to compensate - well then you are definitely not an Eagles fan. Against Brees and the Saints high octane offense, they are going to have to put up bare minimum 28 points to win - and there is a ZERO percent change of happening.

I'm going 2.2 confident units to win 2 units on the Saints. The line has moved a point and a half since I got in and forget bucking the crowd - I'd probably throw on New Orleans if they we favored by a TD.

And THANK YOU UConn and Cuse for your stellar performances yesterday....

layla. you've got me on my knees, layla

theme of the day is road dogs..

boston college @ clemson national coming out party for montel harris. kid is a monster, and has some extra motivation today as his more heavily-recruited high school teammate jamie harper is going to be standing on the opposite sideline. #2 has a huge game, tuggle keeps the mistakes to a mimimum, and the young linebackers surpise everyone as the eagles knock off clemson for the third time in a row in death valley

parlay bc moneyline (+255) and under 45.. 0.50 units to win 2.89

nebraska @ vtech line keeps getting higher as 75% of action at sportsbook is on tech. dodd loves tech. i love nebraska.

nebraska +5.5 to win 1 unit

tennessee @ florida and the award for most ridiculous line of the week goes to florida. bulletin board material is one thing, but jesus, 30 points? tennessee's d has allowed under 275 yards total through their first two games. i don't care if their offense doesn't score a point when i can still take a 4 touchdown loss to the bank. layla, it's me and you baby

tennessee +30 to win 1.5 units

COLLEGE PICKS

ATS:
I was woken up to an unnamed roommate yelling "EASY MONEY, EASY MONEY...Did you see the florida-tennessee line?" I had no clue but when he said 30 and every monkey on covers is talking about how florida is going to run the score up because Urban hates Lane Kiffin well its just worth it to take 30 points in an SEC game.

TENN +30 at Florida for 1 unit

6 point tease:
I am sticking with the ACC again. Maryland finally gets it together at home against Middle of Nowhere Tennesee and North Carolina will take down ECU at home

MARYLAND -1 at home against Middle Tenn and UNC at home -1.5 against ECU for 1 unit

got to jet to Still to watch cj spiller light up the eagles so last bet:

BYU -2 at home against FSU and Auburn -1.5 at home against West Virginia (the big east blows in my mind)

sorry Eagles in DC, I can't get on the vtech bandwagon

PAYING FOR A WIN

I would take seeing BC win a national championship over a Jets Superbowl, a Mets World Series, or watching Lebron win a title for the Knicks. Although the chance of that is a bit unrealistic, the chance of winning the ACC and playing in the Rose Bowl is there for the taking. Yet for the last 2 years, BC just causes me heartbreak. I like to channel that heartbreak into money in my pocket.. hence the paying for a BC win.

I am willing to bet against BC. Its a win-win. If BC wins, I am happy to lose the money. And if BC disappoints, atleast I make money. Since clemson is 7.5 point favorites (the line just keeps going up), I will tease them to 1.5 point favorites. I also hate ND, so the other end of the tease is that I am willing to pay for ND to lose so I will tease them to -4. Worst case scenario is BC loses, and ND wins by 3 now.

The bet: CLEMSON -1.5 over BC with Notre Dame -4 over mich st. for 1 unit

to fire everyone up:

Big East Parlay Day

Going back to our roots today with some strong plays on the Big East...

I hate to say it, but I think Greg Paulus is the real deal at Cuse. They got hosed in the Minnesota game, and couldn't have been expected to hang with Penn State. I'm surprised they are home dogs to a Northwestern team that barely beat Eastern Michigan, and am loving The Orange moneyline at +130. I think they show up and say enough is enough with losing to the Big Ten, with Paulus double hand slapping the Carrier Dome turf like a D-bag after the W.

Despite the fact that UCONN sued BC and tried to get our vacation home and full parental custody during the ACC split - I like the Huskies on the road today against Baylor at +10.5. I think the Huskies are a better team than Wake Forest, and Baylor had trouble with them (OK, that logic never works). But they did hang tough with a ranked UNC team last week, and they should be able to stay within a touchdown. I think they show up ready to control the clock, and keep things interesting with Todman and Dixon pounding the rock.

After the early Bye week, I'm banking on Baylor being sloppier than the 21 year-olds S Dot hits on at Dorrian's. And just in case I'm right, I'm going to slap down a bit on the moneyline too.

.75 units on UConn +10.5 parlayed with Syracuse moneyline paying out at +340
.25 units on UConn moneyline parlayed with Syracuse moneyline paying out at +875.

Diddy Hates This Pick

Let's Go Eagles! I know this is a bit of a long shot, but I do think that BC has a CHANCE to pull out the W today. If we win, it's going to be because our defense keeps Spiller and Ford in check. I'm seeing a good value play on the BC Moneyline parlayed with the 45.5 Under.

I'm going with a non-Nebby like reasonable .25 units at +550... and will probably be pissed I didn't man up for more when this hits.

crill's mnf parlay

so crill's on a date with his long distance boyfriend from work and he asked me to post his pick for the pats/bills game. to his credit, he did email it to me prior to kickoff. unfortunately for him, the pats looked like shit during the first half.

parlay pats -12.5 and over 47.5. 0.75 units to win 1.95

now if you'll excuse me, i'll be losing all of this weekend's profits on rigged online 3 card poker instead of hitting the gym.

IF YOU CAN'T SPOT THE SUCKER IN THE FIRST HALF HOUR AT THE TABLE..THEN YOU ARE THE SUCKER

After losing 12 straight nfl bets to close out last season, the K I D rebounded today with an easy W on THE Atlanta Falcons (how hot is Matt Ryan!?) and the back door cover on the Skins. I couldn't be any happier to drop the mush tag i've been carrying around for the past six months...maybe i'll even be able to get some sleep tonight without slamming a half bottle of NyQuil. As Denis Leary says....Big N, small y, huge fucking Q.

Of course before I get too carried away with verbally blowing myself, I must admit that I somehow thought picking Arizona in a dealth pool was a good idea. After watching the game, I'm happy to give my SMASH MY DICK WITH A HAMMER GUARANTY (SMDWAHG) that there is a 0% chance we'll be watching the Cardinals after January 15th...as always, if any SMDWAHG fails to hold true, i will indeed SMDWAH. Please note that the this guaranty was created in the aftermath of S Dot's infamous "Michael Vick will never play quarterback in the NFL Guaranty."

Monday Night Madness - I've been called a delusional fan, a homer, a C, a D, and just about everything in between...but all bias and affection for Tom Brady aside, the Pats will win tomorrow by three touchdowns...go big on the Pats while the lines are sub-20. Brady's going to pull off a 6-touchdown first half just to make sure Drew Brees isn't confused about the pecking order of QBs.

HANDSOME QUARTERBACKS

I forgot 1 more no brainer of the day:

6 point teaser:
The NY J-E-T-S jets jets jets +10 at houston and ATLANTA +2 at home against Miami

Mark Sanchez makes his debut today and there is no doubt in my mind he is going to be an absolute stud, second only to Matt Ryan.

early games

vs spread
denver @ cincinnati - 88% of the action at sportsbook riding on cincy is crazy to me. i loved hard knocks just as much as the next guy, but bottom line, the bengals still suck. don't necessarily love the broncos either, but five points sound good to me

broncos +5 to win one unit

teaser
kc @ baltimore - hate giving this many points, and brodie croyle's wife's tits are reeeally nice (i'll save you the google image search), but the ravens are pretty much monsters.

dolphins @ falcons - not quite comfortable giving the dolphins 4 points, but i'll take a field goal at home. plus i'm completely biased towards the falcons because matt ryan (zOMG, so hottt!!!1!!1!!) can do no wrong. we joke, but i honestly think tommy would open mouth kiss him.

baltimore -7 with falcons +3 (7 pt tease) to win one unit

because i don't have anything else particularly witty or insightful..
people getting hurt. if you don't think this is funny, we're not friends.

WEEK 1 NFL

Against the spread
ATLANTA -4 at home against Miami for 1 unit- A biased pick, but no doubt in my mind Matt Ryan starts his pro bowl season in style with a dolphin spanking.

6 point tease:
Detroit + 20 at saints and Denver + 11 at Cincy for 1 unit -

Everyone watched Hard Knocks and now everyone has a hard on for the Bengals. 69% of the money is on Cincy and the line keeps heading north as we get closer to kick. I think Denver can win this outright so I'll take 11 points and not worry about kyle orton having to lead a game winning drive. After an 0-16 season, I think Detroit guts it out and keeps it close. Plus, everyone has the saints in survivor so that would be a big screw you.

10 point tease:
NEW ENGLAND -1 at home against buffalo, SAN DIEGO even at oakland, and BALTIMORE -3 at home against KC for 1 unit

I just saw on espn that Brodie Coyle is starting for kc. LOAD up on the ravens, the dude is a bum. Tom Brady's back, no way the pats lose and oakland sucks.

drew thanks for the idea brotha

Like A Virgin - Week 1 NFL Picks

I know, by the title of this entry you likely assume this is Diddy posting. Sorry to disappoint, you'll have to look elsewhere to see who that mush likes in Week 1.

Ah yes, Week 1 - it's been a long off season and thank Jesus football is back. It's also the time of year where you have no idea what to expect out of almost any squad. It's like being a virgin - so many questions about how things will go down. Can Haynesworth in the middle neutralize the Giants running game? Will Kyle Orton be this year's Matt Cassel and help the Broncos cover? Does she want to let it dry on her face? Fortunately the oddsmakers are in much the same situation and just as nervous about their own performance - you can make some serious plays if you identify the discrepancies. Here's where I am laying down today:

3 Team Teaser - My favorite NFL bet, and there are 3 clear teams I am loving today. I'm throwing down 2 units on this 6.5 point tease to pay out +140.

Kansas City at BALTIMORE: I like the Ravens a bit straight up at -13.5, but I think they are a sure thing at -6.5. At home, Flacco has looked sharp, and future UFL backup Brody Croyle is under center for the Chefs.

PHILADELPHIA at Carolina: I know, beware the road favorite. That's why you tease this to a significant road dog. The Panthers D can't hang with the speed of the Eagles O, and the Birds at +5 hits easy. DeSean Jackson and well rested Brian Westbrook each end up with over 100 yards and the Eagles roll.

SAN DIEGO at Oakland: LDT absolutely owns the Raiders, and this time around will be no different. The Bolts at -3 is a safe play. I think Run DMC will rack up some yards, but expect at least 2 JaMarcus picks. I never like waiting until Monday night for the results of a bet, but this one won't leave you sweating.

Unders - Team offense is a bit sloppy this early on in the season, so the Under can be a good play. I'm putting 1 units on a 2 team 6 point tease at -110.

Detroit at New Orleans: Under 55.5. I'm thinking a 35 - 14 final score is as high as this one will go.

Miami at Atlanta: Under 50. The Fins are solid on D and the Falcons should be better than last year. I'm not seeing more than 35 total points.

Let's hope we last longer than 90 seconds, and get things rolling with a few victories...

BIG LOVE... IN THE CAN

Biggest Letdown / Trap Game of the Week:

What do I know about Tulane? Absolutely nothing besides the fact that they have lost their last 9 games going back to last September. The bottom line is that they suck and there is no reason at all for me to even look at this game except this has all the makings of a ridiculous TRAP game.

BYU is coming off one the biggest wins in their program's history after knocking off OU last weekend. There were articles out this week saying the path is now cleared for BYU to head straight into a BCS game and possibly play for a National Championship (what a joke). You know the polygamy loving fans were drinking the Kool Aid this week and riding around on their high horse. Once the party stopped in Provo, the talk was all BYU needs to do is beat FSU in week 3 and then they will play Utah in the last week of the season to go undefeated. You know the coaches eyes were glued to the tv monday night when Jacory Harris picked apart the FSU secondary.

ok so you are probably wondering my point? That no one coaching, playing, or rooting for BYU cares in the least bit about Tulane. They assume they are going to go in there and steam roll them and then get ready for FSU.

So I'll put my money on a sucky Tulane team at home getting 18.5 points for 1 unit and the 73% of Kool Aid drinkers on wagerline can take it in the can

the K I D 's debut ....

After the pathetic performance by the ACC in week 1 (except BOSTON COLLEGE who laid the hammer), I am looking for a strong bounce back in week 2 -

EASY MONEY

DUKE -2 at army ...

I have a minute to get this is but 64% money on a sucky army team in the rain ... i'll take the Blue Devils in a bounce back to win 1 unit

you gotta be smiling, you gotta be dancing, you gotta be shaking that ass

vs spread
nd @ michigan - somehow people are still talking about the offseason controversy at mich. this is insane. the michigan players work out too much? that's a bad thing? might be the last week that michigan is undervalued. here's hoping for another dick-rod chant at the big house. will gladly take the home dogs.

michigan +3 to win 2 units

teaser plays
unc @ uconn - 70% of the action at wagerline is on the heels; 90% at sportsbook. all the reason i need to back the huskies.

stanford @ wake - west coast team playing a noon game on the east coast. we know how those generally turn out.

iowa @ iowa st - cyclones 10-1 ATS in last 11 meetings. worries me that iowa was terrible last week and is due to bounce back, but getting almost two touchdowns makes me feel better.

iowa st +13 with uconn +13 (7 pt tease) to win 1 unit
wake +3 with uconn +12 (6 pt tease) to win 1 unit

sometimes the best bet is one you don't make..
after seeing that 'lean on me' feature on gameday, it's taking every ounce of self-restraint not to jam usc into every teaser. but it's still a freshman quarterback playing a night game at the horseshoe. ohio st was almost embarassed last week. and ben loves the trojans. no play.

back in the game

kicking it off with a 6 pt two-team tease. illinois seems like the obvious teaser opportunity today (everyone's piling on at -6.5) but for some reason i just don't feel right about that game.

Michigan -7
Ok St +0.5

to win 1 unit
